11 Months

I can't believe it has already been 11 months, time is just flying by way too fast!

On November 14th, we had you dedicated to our church showing our family and friends that we are going to raise you the way God wants us to. All the pictures of the day didn't come out too well.Image and video hosting by TinyPic This is the only picture that turned out. We went to Grandpa's house for breakfast and we had to take some pictures.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic Mommy decided that since you keep trying to steal the spoon from me while I feed you, that you could feed yourself. Until you did this... Image and video hosting by TinyPic It was still funny and Daddy and I couldn't help but laugh.

Thanksgiving
This year was your first Thanksgiving. We went to Nana and Papi's house and Uncle Greg joined us.

You got a new toy and you had so much fun pushing it around. Image and video hosting by TinyPic
We finally got a great family picture, so it became our Christmas card this year.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic We decided to let you eat some big boy food and see how you did. You ate everything we put on your plate and there was no gagging. Your favorite food was the rolls, you must be Mommy's kid.
Image and video hosting by TinyPic All the yummy food. We had a great time with family and eating till our stomachs could burst.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic Nana and Papi were out of town so we stayed at their house. Here you are eating sliced bananas.

At the end of the month, we got to sit in Santa's sleigh at the Monrovia Christmas Parade. Daddy got Employee of the Month for the 3rd consecutive month and Employee of the Year. We celebrated afterwards by getting Cherry on Top, well Mommy and Daddy did.

10 Months

You are crazy walking all over the place! Mommy has a hard time keeping up with you and trying to keep a house together, but you are so much fun.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic You are just so silly. You think it is so funny to pull out every single diaper and wipe from their case.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic It is so funny watching you play with this sword. We tell you to say "On guard" and you do.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic You love looking through books and you sit very still as we read them before bed.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic You love playing with Mommy and Daddy's iPhone's, especially the koi pond app. You can now unlock the phone.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic You have gotten smart and now can open the puffs jar. One day I heard crunching, only to find you eating your puffs. Maybe I should give you some snacks.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic We couldn't resist buying this shirt for you, and I am so glad we did.

We decided to start a new family tradition and go to the Cal Poly Pomona pumpkin patch. Image and video hosting by TinyPic You were more excited about the grass then the pumpkins.Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Image and video hosting by TinyPic You are Daddy's best little buddy. You two have so much fun together.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic And we tortured you with some more pictures.

With Halloween just a couple of weeks away, we got you in your costumes for some pictures.

Halloween!
We first celebrated the evening by wishing Auntie Jenn a Happy Birthday! After dinner, we went to church for their trunk or treat. You still aren't allowed to have sweets, so we went to show you off and have fun with friends.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic I guess S thought you looked cute too, because she laid a big fat one on you. It was so cute!

9 Months

This month was very busy for us. September is the LA County Fair and it is Daddy's favorite place to go, so your 9 month pictures are all pretty much at the fair.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic Taking a few steps.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic This was your first time going to the LA County Fair.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic You weren't too sure about the baby goat.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic Silly boy.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic At the petting zoo inside the fair. I won't go ever since a llama ate my shirt, so this year Daddy was so excited he got to take you.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic Eating blueberries. You liked them!

Image and video hosting by TinyPic You just love playing with the house Daddy bought you.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic At the Light the Night Walk for Leukemia/Lymphoma cause.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic You just love your Gaga.

We also celebrated Daddy's Birthday at the beginning of the month and your friend Layla's birthday at the end of the month.

8 Months

Image and video hosting by TinyPic You love getting into things you shouldn't.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic You love paper, but now you know how to rip it up and put it in your mouth.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic You are starting to drink out of a sippy cup. I have tried the ones with straws, but you still don't understand them.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic Nana and Papi signed you up for swim lessons at their house for the week. You love the water, but not so much on being told what to do so 2 1/2 days into it we decided you weren't quite ready for it.

We took you to the beach for the first time and you loved it. You loved the sand, especially when it was in your mouth. And you were just in awe of the waves crashing on the sand. Image and video hosting by TinyPic
You and Daddy watching the waves. Image and video hosting by TinyPic

You are just so active, that it would only be natural for you to start standing at the beginning of the month and start walking at the end! My baby is growing up too fast. I am not ready for you to start walking yet, and luckily you only take a couple of steps here and there.

7 Months

Our sweet little boy just keeps growing up! I will most likely say this each month, but I really can't believe how fast it is going. I am so thankful to be able to stay home with you and watch you grow and explore your new world.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic At dinner with Mommy and Daddy.
Image and video hosting by TinyPic We bought you this bathtub so you can actually have a bubble bath.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic One day I went in your room and instead of being asleep, I found you doing this.

Also this month, you started waving and crawling normally. Although you have the waving down, you don't always do it when told instead you wait till we are turning away and finally start waving.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic You love your Wheezy, but he sure does take a beating.

You are a very adventerous child and you DO NOT stop from the moment you wake up.

6 Months!

We can't believe how fast these past 6 months have been!
You now weigh 16 lbs. 13 oz. and are 27 3/4" long!

Image and video hosting by TinyPic This is you having avocado, your first solid food, on your 6 month birthday and you love it. This month we also introduced you to: green beans, squash, banana, carrots, and pears.

You are still a horrible eater, but when it comes to solid food you just can't get enough. We have an appointment to get your tongue clipped next month and are praying that it helps with your eating.

You still have the most piercing blue eyes and are still pretty much bald.

Daddy went on his annual camping trip, so it was just me and you for a few days. I was about to make you cry it out at night so maybe you would actually start sleeping through the night, but instead you surprised me with sleeping 10-12 hours! All I had to do when you woke the one time, was to put your paci back in your mouth.

You are officially mobile. You army crawl just about everywhere! Which isn't a problem, but you don't have much room to move about since we are STILL in the apartment. We have been looking for a house for over a year now and still no luck. I am praying we are in any place by the time you turn 1, because you need to be in your own room.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic This is the picture we entered into the Next Gerber Baby Contest. Grandma and Grandpa Thornton gave you this onesie, and it is just too cute on you!

Image and video hosting by TinyPic This was your last time in your swing. Like some of your clothes, you have just gotten too big for it.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic Sporting your boys in red. I just love this sweater on you! It needs to hurry up and get cool outside so you can wear it more often.
